most importantly, I hope that you and your brother find peace.
good luck with your future lives
i just wrote them a mail, telling them to not contact me any more under any circumstances, illness or death (79 and 83 years old).
unless they leave the cult and would apologize for our f*'.ed-up upbringing which ruined our whole life.
most importantly, I hope that you and your brother find peace.
good luck with your future lives
my father served in the second world war.
he served in the south pacific.
he loved his time in the military and my mother was more than supporting.

it appears that a new 16-page brochure, with the title "return to jehovah" is to be released at the regional convention (dc) this year.
it would be written specifically for those faded or da/df.chapters are:a letter from the governing body1.
the lost one i will search for2.
If we dont respond "humbley", they will have a "good reason" to say,
you see, they've really turned theirback on jehovah. you must shun them, completely

no big news here, just a couple of nice quotes from the c.o.
#1) so how do jws really feel about worldly people?
yes, they do, or rather the leaders do.
as a CO, nay, as a JW, you only have to say something, and it automatically becomes the truth. No need to prove it.
my wife called me at work saying she is scared after reading today's daily text.
i don't read it anymore, therefore i went online and found this.. tuesday, march 3 .
those days will be cut short.matt.
They were saying exactly that, in the 1960s, when I was a boy.
Why not, whilst giving her a reasuring hug, say that you dont worry too much about that, as they have been saying the same thing for such a long time. maybe give an example from someone you know. Then tell her you will face whatever comes together..........then change the subject.
for those who have left and are still in contact with jw family, how do you usually respond when they bring up jw stuff, i.e.
start talking about the nearness of armageddon or things like that.. i usually say nothing and just let it pass but i'm considering changing tact to something more confrontational, less because i want to change their mind and more because i find it tiresome.
thoughts?
I understand how you feel. I once did that.....and my mother did not speak with me for 5 years..... until she fell gravely ill. So now I say nothing again.
But it drives me crazy.
new to the site.
currently i am a ministerial servant and was told i was appointed to be an elder.
